Tender, fall-off-the-bone BBQ chicken drumsticks made in record time using the Instant Pot.
Ingredients

2 pounds chicken drumsticks
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 cup water or chicken broth
1 cup BBQ sauce
Instructions
- Pat chicken dry and toss with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika in a large bowl.
- Pour water or broth into the Instant Pot and place a trivet inside.
- Place seasoned chicken on the trivet and lock the lid.
- Set valve to Sealing and cook on High Pressure for 10 minutes.
- Allow a 5-minute natural release, then perform a quick release for remaining steam.
- Remove chicken and coat thoroughly with BBQ sauce before serving.
Notes
- For crispy skin, broil the sauced drumsticks for 2-3 minutes after pressure cooking.
- Ensure the valve is set to sealing to build pressure correctly.
