Description

Crispy, juicy chicken tenders with a golden panko crust, baked to perfection for a healthier, family-friendly meal.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb chicken tenderloins
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
2 tablespoons milk
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet.
  2. Set up three bowls: one with seasoned flour, one with whisked eggs and milk, one with breadcrumbs.
  3. Dredge each tender in flour, dip in egg, then coat in breadcrumbs. Place on sheet.
  4. Lightly spray tenders with oil. Bake for 15-20 mins, flipping halfway, until golden and internal temp is 165°F.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, use panko breadcrumbs and ensure the oven is fully preheated.
  • Pat chicken dry before breading for better adhesion. Use a ‘wet hand/dry hand’ method for less mess.
  • Leftovers reheat best in an air fryer or oven to maintain crispness.
