Description

Juicy baked chicken burgers packed with tangy ranch flavor and melted cheddar cheese, a simple and family-friendly weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

1.5 lbs ground chicken
1 oz packet dry ranch seasoning mix
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 cup finely minced onion
1 large egg
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko or traditional)
1 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, lightly beat the egg. Add ground chicken, ranch seasoning, cheese, onion, and breadcrumbs.
  3. Gently mix with hands or a fork until just combined. Do not overmix.
  4. Divide mixture into 6 equal portions. Form into 3/4-inch thick patties, making a slight indentation in the center.
  5. Place patties on prepared sheet, brush lightly with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Notes

  • Check ranch seasoning for compliant ingredients. For juicier burgers, use a mix of ground chicken and ground turkey thigh. Patties can be formed ahead and refrigerated or frozen uncooked.
