4 chicken breasts (6–8 ounces each)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200C/400F. Grease a non-stick skillet or baking dish and set aside.
- Gently pound the chicken breast fillets to around an inch in thickness for even cooking.
- Rub olive oil over all sides of the chicken breasts.
- In a small bowl, mix together the smoked paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
- Place the chicken in the skillet and bake for 8-9 minutes on each side.
- Remove from the oven once the internal temperature reaches 165F and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
